Product Director
Angela has been working with local, state and national groups for 33 years. She began her professional career working at a local program to provide safety to victims of domestic violence. There she managed a shelter, coordinated volunteers, worked with coordinated community response teams and continuums of care. That work laid the foundation of her future work at the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic Violence. That work also taught her the importance of meeting people where they are and providing the assistance they truly need.
Angela started her 17 year career at MOCADSV as a Member Specialist and traveled around the state assisting local programs with their policies, procedures, and data collection practices. She then became the Training Coordinator and planned statewide trainings, lead annual events, and presented at national conferences. Then, as Programs Director, she oversaw Member Services, Training Coordination, and Legal Advocacy. An important part of all of her roles at MOCADSV was making data collection manageable and streamlined for her staff and the members she served.
Angela also served a year as Director of a Refugee and Immigration program. During that time Angela learned the importance of assisting a diverse group of people and their vastly differing needs. She also assisted the program by introducing a time keeping system that would put them in compliance with their primary funder.
Now, Angela has been with Element 74, Inc., since 2017. She helped the Coalition Manager platform transition from a database used by one statewide coalition to a flexible, robust platform that is used by more than 100 state, regional and national coalitions, associations, alliances and networks. Angela has also worked on the Jumbl platform since its beginning. While data collection, communication, member management, donor management, and training coordination are what Jumbl and Coalition Manager do, helping organizations streamline their tasks so they can focus on the important work they do and the mission they fulfill is Angela’s primary goal.
